Jewelbox Pictures is a film and television production company founded by Maude Apatow. It is a home for artists with distinct voices and perspectives to develop compelling, original ideas. Maude came to Sensitive to build a complete identity for Jewelbox— everything from a logo to wayfinding to the entire visual system. The root of the identity is the idea of Jewelbox as both a spotlight and a tool: something that amplifies voices and gives characters space to be seen and heard, while conceptually tying back to the word jewel itself. We took that concept and ran with it for the logo—we created an experimental jewel for the logo and pre-roll. We expanded that concept and logo into the entire visual system— using it as a tool to house all content in any format—whether an Instagram post, a casting call sign, or on-screen motion. We set the company up for success by creating an extensive, bullet-proof brand guidelines and a file of templates and shapes for their disposal.
